I left everything behind more than once and chose myself every time. I live in Hawai’i today after falling in love with it almost four years ago. The tropical paradise was part of my vision but the place I ended up is beyond anything I had dreamed of.

I grew up in Switzerland knowing something else was waiting for me. It took me 17 years to stop making excuses and go find it. NYC first. Then Hawaii.

I did that journey mostly alone. No one to ask the hard questions. No mirror. Just me, my fears, and a lot of time spent in the gap between knowing and doing.

I don’t want that for you.
